EBP Roles for Librarians Working with Nurses by Margaret (Peg) Allen and Pam Sherwill-Navarro
Survey Monkey survey July – August 2005, with 135 responses. 83 worked in a hospital setting and 54 academic, with three not responding to this question. Overlap represents ten librarians working in combined hospital/academic setting.
Selected data was compared with similar findings in the 2008 NAHRS Librarian Roles in Evidence Based Nursing Practice survey, with results linked from the Nursing and Allied Health Resources Section of the Medical Library Association (NAHRS/MLA) Research Committee page. The survey authors also conducted the 2007 Magnet Coordinators survey.
